Copper & Brass
For oil-rubbed copper, weathered copper and brass finishes, slight variations may occur from shade to shade.
Copper and brass fixtures have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture. There are no returns accepted on these metals.
Copper is a "living" metal that, without regular cleaning, will undergo a natural weathering process. Much like the formation of rust on iron, a patina develops on copper which actually protects the metal. If you prefer the new-penny look of copper, you can keep it shiny with regular care with a gentle cleaning agent such as Bar Keeper's Friend.

Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.

The light looks great - we've gotten many compliments already. We had a few small issues when the light was damaged in shipping - but Barn Light Electric went above and beyond to ensure that the matter was dealt with as quickly and painlessly as possible. Great to know that customer service is there when you need it.
I ordered two of these in the galvanized finish for over my bathroom sinks at a beach house. They look great! Bigger than I thought but very nice. Turn around time is a little slow but well worth the wait!!!

I haven't put the light up yet I will paint the barn first - but the light is beautiful and I can't wait to see it over the door it will make a perfect finishing touch.
